"As promised, this month's article is devoted to money.
Not the fictitious kind that grows on trees, but the honest to
goodness, cold hard cash that some say runs the world (and we know,
the County)."

"The end of the year also brought about an environmental
nightmare for the County and the citizens of our district.. By now,
most of you have read the articles or seen the news clips regarding

"I have heard from residents that several old enforcement provisions have
been omitted from the new code. The Council is working to address
omissions in the enforcement regulations and expect to have several

"The State has concluded their session, and I am pleased to say that the
5th District did fairly well. No, that would not be accurate. The 5th
District did awesome. While not all that we had hoped for, this year,
Anne Arundel County's 5th district will receive funds that will insure
an infusion of funds for many projects that are near and dear to the
hearts of our residents."

April 2005
"To the amazement and credit of the County, its citizens
and the Council, last month the County Council unanimously passed
the first comprehensive rewrites to the zoning and subdivision laws
in twenty or so years. Not so amazing, is that the Council is
already working on the rewrites and "finessing" of several
provisions which either need restructuring or further input."
